Deposit terms

This is the whole agreement between you and (ABN to be added), in plain words. If anything here is unclear, email us before you pay.

What the deposit is

US$50, paid once through Stripe. It holds one place in the first batch of 50 and fixes the launch price for you. It is not a purchase and it does not buy you anything yet.

Where the money sits

Deposits are held, not spent. They do not fund development, parts or anything else. The money stays available so that every deposit can be refunded at any time.

Getting it back

Email us from the address you paid with and say you want a refund. You do not need a reason. We refund the full US$50 to the card you paid with. Banks usually take a few business days to show it.

If the first batch never goes into production, every deposit is refunded without you having to ask.

Turning a deposit into an order

Nothing happens automatically. When the first batch is ready to build, we will email you the final price, the confirmed specifications and the delivery estimate. Only if you reply and explicitly confirm does your deposit become part of an order. If you do not reply, or you say no, we refund the deposit.

Specifications

Everything on the page describes a prototype. The numbers are targets and may change before production. You will see the confirmed specifications before you are asked to commit to anything beyond the deposit.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will email everyone holding a deposit before the change applies. If you do not like the new terms, ask for a refund.
